Raya Morning

I always wake up pretty early on Raya morning if I'm in KL. Reason being it's deathly quiet most times, and I'll hear the prayers from the surau near my apartment. Plus this year, I heard more firecrackers than normal. Thought it was Chinese New Year :)

So I woke up, sent out massive number to text messages to friends wishing them a good Hari Raya, showered, went to get the morning paper and my favourite McD breakfast (so strange that I like this). Not yet done with the morning paper, got distracted watching TV along the way! Oops!

Hope there are some nice movies on TV this Raya season. I remember one year, they showed "Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gam" on TV and I cried my eyes out cos the sub-titling was superb and relayed perfectly the intent of the dialogue! I must try to find the DVD since it is one of the few Bollywood movies that I have watched and liked. Plus Shah Rukh Khan's pretty easy on the eyes too *hee hee*

Almost lunch time. Should make some grub to fill the tummy :)
