This Has Got To Take The Cake

Six weeks without writing. Gosh! What have I become!

Actually, I was just so busy with this conference that we were organising that it kind of overtook my life until last week. Was so dead tired after that as well, so recuperated a bit over the weekend. Strangely enough, had a very busy weekend.

Also, along the way, I inherited a puppy. Someone left it outside my apartment door and my mum fed it for a couple of days until she left for home. Then it was me taking care of it for the next few days. I called her Timmy, eventho it's a male name. Cos the best dog that I ever had was named Timmy.... and it was the name of the Famous Five's dog as well :)

But alas, I had to give Timmy away, cos I don't have space in my apartment and I can't keep pets there. Sob Sob. Actually felt quite sad to give her away, but at least she has a good home now, with a family who has 4 other dogs. Oh, she's a border collie. I think they can grow up to be quite big dogs.

I also went to watch the Finals of the Malaysian Tennis Open on Sunday. Almost caught the tennis ball Davydenko autographed and hit to the crowds, but too bad, me too short, hence couldn't reach for the ball first. But it was superb, I missed watching tennis.

Got plenty of errands to run this weekend. And catching up with friends whom I've neglected for a while. Should be fun :)
